Michael Palarca, for stepping up when the Jacks needed someone to take control.

The Jacks defense, for continuously giving up easy buckets. Need to work on our defensive rotations and assignments (hopefully this is iron out over the course of the season).If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

I was able to turn the game on with 5 minutes left....apparantly right after WIU head coach went on a tirade, and right before Nagy got a technical.
Sounds like the refing left a lot to be desired.

I thought another key to this victory was Kai in the 2nd half. He completely changed his demeanor coming out of the locker room. He really stepped up his defensive intensity and rebounding. You could also see him pushing his teammates on occassion.
I commented on TV's blog that I think that is the worst that I have seen Garrett play. I completely agree with his hockey anology of "squeezing the stick too tightly". Understandable with all the hometown folks and high school there. He was calm at the end though when we needed those free throws.
Great win Jacks. Use this as the launch point for the program returning to its winning ways.Comment
