Up next for the Jackrabbits, the Mastodons of IPFW (Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne).  Here is a link to their basketball web site:

The Dons are 6-15 with their last game being a 71-59 loss to NDSU in Fargo.  The Mastodons are Coached by Dane Fife, this is his first season as the head coach, some of you may remember him from Indiana's '01-'02 Final Four team.  I believe he is the youngest head coach in D-I.

Why?

1. Football players who a) actually might know the inbounds plays tonight and b) don't have the Super Bowl refs around to call offensive pass interference.

2. Football players (again) . . . if they don't know how to do anything else, they know how to set picks for Cadwell . . .

3. It's about time we had some good luck for a change.

Media reports, including the pre-game radio show, indicated the hearing on the alleged sex victim's protection order has been extended until March 21. The two players sought their own protection order. Meanwhile, the criminal investigation continues. So far, no arrests and no charges. How long the suspensions might last is unclear.
