Congratulations to Chad White, Tony Fiegen, and the rest of the Madison Bulldogs! A great way for them to wrap up their high school career. I am really looking forward to watching them continue to improve with the Jacks!

Congrads to all Madison, its their first State title since 1945. Gosh I was four when that happened. Thats a long dry spell, but being the smallest in the ESD for several decades did not help them win titles.

You bet. Congrats to Tony and Chad and I'm glad they went out and earned it in their final year.

Interesting to see Nagy in SF Saturday night. I imagine with Carlson, White and Fiegen so close he has taken in plenty of their games this year (even saw him at a Brookings-O'g game in SF). Was he just in town to make an appearance at the AA's? Was he watching Tetz from Wtown?

Tetz is going to USD I believe. It could be to watch one of his former players coach (Brian Norberg from Watertown).
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

Maybe Newton kid from Huron, he is JR this year. Also Huron has a freshmen that may be someone to look at as well in the future (Luke Carr).

There are several good young players that were in the AA tourney that may be on the radar in future years. It is always good for the coach of the highest profile program in the state to attend tournaments.

To answer TJ: There are no more DI players in the state that don't already have a scholarship for next year.

Please pass on T-Newt. He would fit in better at the U.

I disagree with you, this kid has a heart of gold. He is learning to control his attitude. It is nothing like his father. I watched him play against Brookings and him and Carlson were putting on a show. Newton ended up with a double/double and could of taken that game over any time he wanted. One thing about this kid is that he is tremendous athlete.

I believe his father was an All American in both basketball and football at Huron University. And from talking with kids that play with him he sees the court better than anyone, if you make a move he will find you and does like to rack up assist.

Attitude is the down fall but you saw a huge change in that this year from him. His father is even helping by constantly reminding him that things do not always go your way...suck it up and get on with the game.

I have known Ralph (his dad) for 20 years and that is a drastic change in his persona. If this kid can temper it down even more than he did this year, I would hate to see him wearing red because he will be very dangerous in the future.

I hope his attitude continues to improve, but I have seen enough over the past few years to make me want to steer a LONG ways away from this one. This kid seems too risky to me. I've never met his father, but I watched him get tossed out of a game earlier this year and proceed to challenge anybody from the opposing teams crowd to fight him outside. He's a real peach.

Well Bells I guess we can agree to disagree then. I realize I will never win an argument on this blog but I am willing to give this kid a chance because of what I see inside of him. Not what I have witness from a few games here and there. Maybe I am looking at the kid for his growth potential and athleticism, not at the way his father acts. Hell if you want to get into that, we have parents on our mens team right now that sometimes could use an attitude check...I'm not saying, just saying.
