Ah, forget about my last post. I didnt mean it as anything negative towards Kai.

Anyone want to wager a guess as to why Kai is struggling so much this year? Great talent.

Anybody know who led the scoring tonight?

I gotta agree with Coach, this one hurt bad. Worst I have felt as a fan since the Denver game. We should have won this one.

Kai missed a 3 with the Jacks final possession, resulting in a breakaway basket at the other end to put the game away.

Jacks got down 16 early, fought their way back to a nip and tuck game.

The guys couldn't finish, though. They should have won, but didn't. Same old same old.

On to Tulsa, to beat the Golden Eagles!

(Nobody will expect it to happen, which is exactly when it will--that's how sports are.)

Nagy sounded a little pissed off on this one. Bad week to be a Jack in practice this week.

We aren't a very good team right now and the NCAA tourney is not in our near our distant future.
I agree, just qualifying for the Tourney by other teams losing is not what I want to see. If we could play solid defense for 40 minutes and rebound properly, these close games would never be close, but if we keep giving up offensive rebounds until they score, how can we expect to win? I dunno. This game really does not build confidence for the final two road games.

Show us the guarantee money, baby!!

(If we're going to lose on the road, we might as well earn five figures for doing it!)

(Rum and coke zero helps a LOT.)

    OK, I'm shrugging this one off . . .

The Jacks will not lose again this regular season.

They'll beat ORU in Tulsa, breaking their 0-fer string in a big way.

Then, they'll beat Centenary in Shreveport.

(Oddly enough, my glasses seem to have taken on this odd royal-blue tint . . .)

    G'Rabbits!

(Oh, yeah, we'll send the Bison into the NIT in the Summit League tournament, too.)

not exactly shocked by this, the Jacks can't win on the road and it's getting old. I know this game doesn't mean much, but it could have been a stepping stone heading into next weekend.
