Brian Norberg, Chris White, Austin Hansen are three better players. You
can almost throw in Kyle Adams as well.

            Athletic ability - - - absolutely, I stand by what I've said.

The question is, have the guys shown what Roy Williams calls "want-to?" No. Not yet, anyway. Mark Tetzlaff had "want-to." Jason Sempsrott had "want-to." Chris White had "want-to."

The question is: do these guys have "want-to?"

I've been watching SDSU basketball since the late 1970's, and there is more raw talent and athletic ability on this team than on any team SDSU has ever had.

I don't know if the "want-to" is there, however. That's something that only the guys on the court can answer, one way or another.

If 4 or 5 of the best players in SDSU history were playing on the same team, I have a feeling that they would be above .500 and wouldn't constantly "underachieve." I've watched Austin Hansen, Andy Moeller and all those guys on the early 2000's teams. Q Richardson or whatever his name is was one of the best onball defender's I've ever seen. Not to mention all of the guys that played before that.

I completley agree with you.....there is a difference between good players and good teams......we're talking great here, one of the best

                And it's not 1-15 or 2-14.........0-16

We just need to be realistic

There is a difference between athletic ability and being a good basketball player. Josh Smith is one of the greatest athletes in the NBA. He's tall, quick, lengthy and can jump out of a gym. Larry Bird was slow and couldn't jump high. Who was the better basketball player?

You mean Marquise Richardson. Q Richardson plays for the New York Knicks! Seriously though, Marquise was a great defender. Remember when he bit Josh Mueller on the thigh at the Dome. That was some of the funniest stuff I ever remember at a Jacks game.

I agree that those were good players. They also played against D11 competition. apples to oranges....

I hate to say it, but the upper tier teams of the NCC in its hey day would compete in The Summit. The NCC was a premier DII league in its day.

Good times. Mueller changed his shorts on the bench in-front of 9,000 people. That was a great game and one of the loudest games I've ever been to. And you're right, I don't know why I thought of Quentin Richardson haha.

I disagree. Now what? My point is this is argument where neither one of us can win
