You need to calm down. Yes he has struggled at times this year but he's also shown some glimpses of what he's capable of, such as the Oakland game. People are going to struggle at times

What, because he took the last shot he gets the blame for the loss? How about one of the misses in the middle of the game that should of went in, can we blame that player too. Kai played a good game, the shot went down and back out. How bout we blame the bus driver that drove to the game. If he hadn't done that we wouldn't have lost.

I'd go so far as to say that SDSU is a better team with Moss on the court than Sargent. Clint, to be polite, hasn't mastered the defensive half of college basketball competition.

There's nobody on this team that's mastered the defensive half, including Dale.

Teams win, and teams lose.

It sounded to me (listening to the radio call) that Kai and Dale had pretty good games.

But this entire team needs to get tougher--nastier--if they want to win a game on the road.

They have the talent to succeed. What they don't seem to have is enough of the attitude. The Jackrabbits need to somehow find a mean streak, and use it. They're a team of basically nice guys. Good to hang out with. Bad to try to win in Division I with.

They need to make other teams hesitant to play them. They need to play tougher--more physical, whatever. Right now, they let teams do whatever they want to. They play offense hesitantly, and play defense politely. This team doesn't have the right mental attitude to play defense. That attitude is: "that basketball is mine. Give it to me. Now." Right now, they're playing like "oh, please don't score on us, thanks." So, every team we play seems to have a career night against our defense. Because they don't want to do what it takes to play good defense in NCAA Division I.

And if you don't play good defense, you get beat. A lot.

Or just ignore him. It wasn't Kai's fault tonight it was a total team effort just like every other heart-breaking road loss. No defense down the stretch and no one taking a leadership roll wanting the ball in crunch time and making a play.

Filbert, you are a god in my books, but I have to disagree with one point. I just dont think we have the talent in the post to compete. Hopefully that changes.
