Sturgis, I think they need anti-stimulus money.

Think they need to take the little ball out of the things. Did you know they are called pea whistles.

Pretty crazy how Garrett and Kai got their 1000th points in back to back home games under almost identical circumstances.

Nagy happy with the win proud of the guys didn't give up Utah tough, they are getting there getting used to close games, last year would have lost this one. Sargeant out till at least tuesday maybe longer. let AC do his thing when they could get it in to him. Moss coming around since injury. Kai good job rebounding. Good job from the free throw line.

ORU hangs on at home against WIU. Huge for jacks chances for sioux falls since it pushes WIU to 5-8, half game behind Jacks.

Need that seventh Summit win Sat. night and then go to town on the road.

If WIU can play within three of ORU on the road, it is winnable for Jacks.

              Standings:
              NDSU 13-1 (SUU, SDSU, @Cent @ORU)
              ORU 10-3 (IUPUI, @SUU, @UMKC, SDSU, NDSU)
              Oakland 9-5 (@WIU, @IUPUI, SUU, UMKC)
              IUPUI 7-7 (@ORU, IPFW, Oakland, @WIU)
              SUU 6-7 (@NDSU, ORU, Cent, @Oakland, @IPFW)
              SDSU 6-8 (UMKC, @NDSU, @ORU, @Cent)
              IPFW 5-8 (@Oakland, @IUPUI, @WIU, UMKC, Cent)
              Centenary 5-8 (WIU, @UMKC, @SUU, NDSU, SDSU)
WIU 5-9 (@Centenary, Oakland, IPFW, IUPUI)
              UMKC 2-11 (@SDSU, Centenary, ORU< @IPFW, @Oakland)

Stand by earlier post that Jacks should be playing for better seed at Centenary.

              Go Jacks!!

              Analysis, anyone?

                Is it a sprained ankle?

Wow, we won and we fought hard to win this one. SUU got some good shooters and I think our guys really tried to make some stops in the final minutes. Thats 11 wins now so I am pleased. It can only get better. If Mollinari, the WIU coach says we are a team of the future, then we need to respect that point of view. Mollinari, has been around and helped Ray Meyer at DePaul recruit all those NBA guys in the late 1980's so he knows something.

What a great win tonight guys!!! We were rooting from you at home and we were loud, (I think the neighbors heard us!!!) Congradulations to Garrett! I was kind of hoping he would wait until we got there for Sat. game, but I am glad it's out of the way for him now. Way to step it up without Clint tonight. You all came through big time!! Keep it up guys, and we all hope Clint will be back real soon. Proud of all of you. GB GB Go Jacks!!! I like it when you are all smiling!!!

Let's hope the second thousand begins before fans packed to the rafters Saturday night. Jacks have a chance to be 4-2 in the Summit second half if they take care of business. 6-3 or better still possible.

Congrats to Garrett on his 1,000th point milestone. It was even sweeter with a big win. Too bad you missed his 1,000th point but, according to Nagy's post-game comments, Garrett will be honored with his 1,000th point commemorative ball on Saturday night. At least you'll be here to see the basketball presentation. Again, great game and see you Saturday.

                          Go Jacks!!
Go Big, Go Blue, Go Jacks!!!

Now you will get to see him receive his 1000th point ball.

Great, great win for the guys tonight! We needed it and they went out and got it done!

It wasn't a thing of beauty but they finished it at the end which is what they need to do to become a solid team.

Some solid contributions from Engen and Moss tonight after Garret got in fould trouble and Clint sprained his ankle. Kai and Dale were huge on the boards. Some extremely athletic rebounds.

Cordova was solid and the cool thing is that he was knocking down his free throws. That would be a major positive development if that continued.

I was really disappointed in the size of the crowd. It was good down the stretch but there weren't many there tonight considering the magnitude of the game. WE NEED YOU SATURDAY NIGHT!

Bottom line is they did what they had to and that makes Saturday's game huge!

BTW-the refs were HORRIBLE. They stunk both ways so they didn't have an impact but the were awful.

                              SEE YOU ALL SATURDAY NIGHT!!!

                              GB, GB, GJ!

                              SUPERBUNNY
                              MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, BIZUN!!!

Jacks played to the level of their competition last night. If they would have played like they did against the Bison or Oakland, that's a 20 point win. The foul trouble and Sargent going down hurt bad though. When Garrett and AC were on the bench with fouls in the first half, there was not a good viable option on the floor outside of Kai to score. Mac, Palarca, Engen, Griff and Kai. That's pretty brutal on the offensive end, but they sustained and kept it tied.

58-50 was pretty grim, but locked down on the "D" end and they finally missed some shots. Way to hit the FT's all game. After seeing AC at the line last night it makes you wonder a little more about having him out of the game in those late game situations before.

After watching the last four home games it kills me that they don't consistently run the offense through AC nearly every time down the court. He is just kicking @$$ on the offensive end right now, using and abusing everybody guarding him.

And the crowd royally sucked. I walked in a tipoff and wanted to throw up. These are real, meaningful games people, wtf! Especially the students. An important conference game when I was in college, you better be walking in 20 minutes before tip to get a seat in the lower deck. Get out of your stinky @$$ dorm room and watch some bball.

Huge win fellas. Do it again Saturday.

BTW, did #12 from SUU not look like McLovin?
