Scholarships?

Does somebody know how many scholarships we have and who has them?
I think the NCAA allows 13 for basketball(right)?
I think we are using 11 of them-
1) Michael
2) Casey
3) Moss
4) Sargent
5) Garrett
6) Kai
7) Cassaday
8) Cordova
9) Engen
10) Rader
11) Davis

That would leave these players without one-
1) Wipf
2) Tivis
3) Griffan
4) DeBoer
5) Pederson

Is this anywhere near correct? I know it might not be right to take scholarships back but you could have given 1 to each Tivis and Griffan this year and taken it back if you added another player next year. That would have at least covered 1 year for them. That's better than nothing.
Next year, Casey will leave and White and Feigen will come in. That would put SDSU at 12 scholarships. They could decide what to do with the last one from there.
SDSU might not be giving out 13 scholarships for all I know.

I've tried to figure out scholarships for the past couple of years and it is just hard and confusing.... you seem pretty right.... I don't know how they work with scholarships that aren't used, if they award them on a year bases to a walk on or if they just don't use them.... a lot of it is known only by people in the program unless they want it to become known...

verbals for the future that I know of will be

Chad White and Feigen starting next year
Brayden Carlson starting the year after
and 2011 Zach Horstman..

My understanding is that he had an academic scholarship that ran out. Since he was asked to redshirt, it's only fair that he gets a year of athletic support to finish up.

1 remaining scholarship, possibly 2 for 2010 (depending on status of Davis) - Marcus Hemestra is the focal point for the 1 for sure.

4 available in 2011 - one has been designated for Zach Horstman....beyond that time will tell who lands the other 3. A 2010 kid could be in a walk on situation for a year with offer down the road ala Brayden Carlson.
