Why havent you completed your profile and disclosed your name? You are always full of cheap shots, but never have a solution or a complimentry remark. Lots people live in Fargo ND, so who are you?

I agree that this is a dangerous comment. This is still a message board and no person is responsible for posting their real name nor should their posts be taken for any more or less than what they are based on having their name attached or not. People have a right to be negative about the situation and people have a right to call them on it and people have a right to ignore it (Until the owner/hosts of the board deems otherwise).

So here we go again. Nagy CAN'T recruit enough talent (or retain it) for us to be able to play consisntly good D. He also CAN'T relate to the players without yelling at them and having them play so tight all of the time they end up making mistakes. And if the "let's stick our head in the sand and deny we have any problems fans" are happy with these crappy results, so be it.

Oh wait a minute, I forgot, we are going to beat UNC, Duke, UCLA, on our way to national title this year. My bad.

Or maybe some fans shouldn't let the sting of a pair of very close road loses make them wildly emotional.

Great job Jacks!! Nagy has them playing well.

What a difference a week makes. This team is close and like I have been saying for a long time they are making progress. I think they will improve all the way to the Summit Tourney and will be even better next year. Call me a fan "with my head in the sand", but this team is much better then what we have had the past few seasons. Reason is they are still all around. Next year we don't lose anyone who is playing much and we add more. That is not a dig at this year's Sr. it is just how it is.

Well we had that game and screwed it up at the end. When you have a three point lead in the closing seconds of a game, you foul the man with the ball to make him shoot two free throws. That is basketball 101. That is just unacceptable.

At the end of OT, SUU was ahead by 3 and we were inbounding the ball. I think SUU was trying to foul, like we should have, but they call Palarca for traveling. It was a bad call, but SUU played that situation correctly and we did not. That was the differrence in the game. You can't blame the ref's for that.

It will take me a few days to get over this one. This one hurt worse than the UMKC game, because in the UMKC game if Williams makes the shot at the end, it only sends the game into OT, still not a guaranteed win. I can forgive someone for missing a basket, I have a much harder time with mental errors.

I don't think that it is automatic that you foul in that situation.If the ball crosses half-court and someone is in legitimate shooting range,then yes.If the ball is 75 feet away,then probably not.If we had fouled and they made the 1st shot,missed the 2nd and their center makes a stick-back to tie the game,people would be calling for Nagy's head for fouling.The same thing happened at the end of regulation in the Minnesota- Wisconsin game.Wisconsin didn't foul and the Gophers tied it with a 3.Does that make Bo Ryan a bad coach ?

After listening to Nagy last night,and reading his quotes in the paper,i could understand how one would think he was throwing the players under the bus.

Just in the Crowd was talking matter factly as though he was sitting directly behind Nagy in Cedar City, and the entire staff were potted plants. And in my book thats kind of a cheap shot. I bet the staff were yelling without a doubt. Plus I think some our more experienced players were aware of what they needed to do and SDSU did not get their TO that coach tried to call. Here is where a home court timer can affect the game. I dont know if that was the case or not, but its amazing how coaches time out was ignored and the clock started. A lot can be done in three seconds. Who do you blame for not fouling, there are five guys on the floor. In my mind a dozen good defensive stops, and Nielsen's, SUU freshman's final 3 pt would not have matter except to increase the total score of SUU.

Its like a auto dealership with all sales reps busy with prospective customers, and Warren Buffett comes in wanting to buy 5 autos, and no one waits on him and he gets discouraged and walks out. Who do you blame? This is how the last play of the game went last night

Without re-stating old arguements, IMHO our guys for the most part play very good defence. We just lack the overall size/quickness/experience to be better on that end. We just need more talent overall. I believe they are doing their best.

So allowing the opponent to make 60 per cent of their shots is the best we can do? Come on and hey there is an edit button to help you correct all your typos. Also defense spelled d-e-f-e-n-s-e, no "c". Gott IT rabbit boy? Good!!!! We can improve our defense and in turn improve our talent. Its not a talent problem, more of talent development. So what I am I hearing you say is we might as well give up since our defense will allow as much as 60 per cent completion for our opponents and we might get lucky and win by out shooting them on the other end.

How many shots from 30 feet go in on a desperate throw. It happens yea. It was a damn lucky shot and in most cases doesn't go in.
