I just noticed the post-game press conference is available for free on GoJacks.com. Thought the rest of you might want to check it out as well as I don't think this has been an option in the past. Hopefully they keep this up.

Coach K at Duke has brought guys up from the end of the bench to give them a spark plug and effort to start a game. So i would not just call that a high school tactic. maybe if we see this line up in the NDSU or other big confrence games, we could question it, however something needed to be done and thats what he did.
Well, Duke shook up its starting line up last night in a move very simmilar to what Nagy did. Very simmilar reasons. Maybe some people should not be so quick to judge a coach by the choices he makes before the game even starts. Do you think Duke fans will be hearing the same kind of stuff like, Whats Coach K doing? Im never gonna support him now......I understand that we are on the complete oppisite end of the spectrum from Duke, but trying to dismiss what Nagy did with out waiting a few games to see the results is a little bush league. Or is it Busch league like the beer? If anything I am encouraged by what Nagy is trying to do. At the Luncheon the other day, he mentioned that he tells his players if your doing something and its not working, change it. That is exactly what he did. Kudos to Coach Nagy for tyring to do something to get this team playing better.

I'm a big enough person to admit that i had a knee-jerk reaction or three the other night. I blame it on large amounts of cold medicine.

Believe it or not, i'm a big supporter of Nagy and think he's the right man for the job.I also believe in this team,i think they are getting close to turning the corner.

It wasn't close to being the same. It was the total opposite. Here is the quote from Coach K. Get your facts straight please.

Krzyzewski sat his regular lineup in favor of five players who had combined to make one start this season.
"There's never a thing you do where a message is not intended," Krzyzewski said. "The message is that we have confidence in our bench. Is the glass, so-called, half-full or half-empty? What would be the reason to do that doesn't mean that something wrong happened. It's to show confidence in the kids that we need."

"We're going to need those kids, and if you constantly play them coming off the bench late -- maybe [starting] is a little boost," Krzyzewski said. "There are a lot of reasons for doing it other than the superficial ones." Coach K.

Shaking up the lineup to get better results from your team? Sounds very simmilar to me. As he said, there are a lot of reasons. Maybe with Henderson and the team struggling at Michigan after a they beat that team just a few weeks ago? He has done those sort of things other years. He said maybe starting is a little boost. Same thing with our guys, they need a boost, so they both shook up the starting line up. They were trying to help out the bench more, we were trying to get the starters help. Its still a team game and some times you have to make a change.

I got my facts, thanks for the quotes Ive read already. Just because you dont agree doesn't make it any less true.

You got a cold to huh? I got mine this week just in time for finals. I agree, the vibe coming from this team is very positive. Its just gonna take winning a few games and then it will seem even more apparent how much we have gained since the start of the transition, and even last year for that matter.

You have twisted the Duke scenario to make it look like Nagy's ploy. Nagy changed the lineup to put starters on the bench and to teach them something? Coach K changed his lineup to reward the bench guys and build them up. They were playing a lowly team and had no chance of losing, so he "rests" his starters and rewards his bench. Nagy's was a choice to sit a starter, not even close to being the same.
