Fresh off a pair of games where the Jacks have almost found an identity, the Jackrabbit men open the conference season at Frost Arena tonight. Clint Sargent's and Garrett Callahan's guard play has given the squad some lifts in pressure situation. And with Josh Cassaday and Michael Palarca starting to find their game, the Jacks are finding themselves in plenty of close games.
"The Cancun trip was a good trip for us," says assistant coach Rob Klinkefus. "I think we found some stuff out about us when we came together, guarded and changed the way we defended.
