Need better decisions on the break than that from a SR. PG

2:34 left. 10 point lead for San Jose St. Getting tough now. We are actually playing pretty good D from the sound of it, but when they need a big bucket - they get it.

SJ State is going to have to choke this thing away now. We have to foul and hit 3's for any chance.

Ding dang. Fring franging Free Throws. We aren't hitting them. Not that we would be winning with them, but the game would be pretty darn close if we were draining an acceptible percentage from the line.

as well as we rebounded for most of the game, we gave up some huge second chance points when they went on their run to put the game away. We're just not very big. You can only hustle to so many rebounds when you're outsized at 4 out of 5 positions.

Pretty much as good an effort as our guys can give. They have a better team than us right now and that's okay. We gave them a game and they beat us. Can't hang our heads, good effort we just got beat by a better team.

70-62 is the final. Jacks had chances in this one. Not a bad effort but a game they could have won.

No matter how good the team, this always, always seems to be a thorn in the side of a Nagy team.

Agreed. Could have won but not should have won. We aren't quite there yet.

True, but you can only control what you can control. All they can do is work and play position and continue to play the percentages.

I think this team can get better offensively. That would help take some pressure off the defense, etc.

                            Overall good effort.

Sargent picking up his 4th foul with 10:00 go hurt. Had quick 8 points to start the half.

Kai struggled, but the effort was great on both ends from him.

Cordova very solid. I think it will help to get Palarca back in the lineup as well.

Did I hear that right? No points of the bench. You can't win games without some secondary support. 24-70 from the floor for 34%. Not going to beat any good teams shooting like that. 6-14 from the FT line, no excuses for that.

12 turnovers for the Jacks. That's a much better number than most any game last year.
