James Granstra is presented with an award basketball from Ryan Scheevel, left and Dusty Koster, right, members of the SSC 1000 point club. James hit his 1000th point in the season opener game with Harris-Lake Park. James Granstra of SW Star Concept has been named by Minnesota Basketball News to the Minnesota High School Top 100 Player List. A player like this might not be able to score a lot of points, but where having someone his size helps is on the defensive side. Anybody who drives the lane has to be aware of him and change their shot. Right now, we have two 6'6" players as our posts, and they just don't pose a threat to block any shots.
