    Re: WIU in Brookings

Happy to see us win a game, no matter how ugly. Now 3-8 in the Summit with 8 wins this year. I hope we can ride this win to some future success.

81-75. I think the Summit needs an officiating adjustment to keep interest up but a win's a win.

Coach says Mo broke his arm and is done for the season. Man, he was playing well when he was in there tonight. Tough for Mo, he is a senior and he is probably done.

Nagy said he thinks Mo broke his arm...man...that sucks.

That kid has been through SOOOO much and has been a positive force this year and to see his career end like that is absolutely terrible. I really feel for the kid.

Nice win Jacks. They handled the pressure much better this time around. They really crashed the boards in the second half. Too bad about Marte, heard he broke his right arm and that should finish his career as a Jack. He has been through a lot and hate to see him go out that way. But want to thank him for sticking this transition out with us and you will always be a Jackrabbit, unlike those other players that quit the team.

                Absolutely ridiculous.
Hate to complain about refs, but come on this is getting really rediculous.

Every game goes the same... Bison lead in fouls in the first half about 9-3, then oops, it's now 10-7 in fouls at the break. Second half is a little closer, about 6-3 until the end when absolutely nothing gets called on one end and ticky tack completely on the other.

This game was one of the worst since in the last 4 minutes, the 5 Bison turn overs where on top of 3 complete mugging no calls. The Bison took what, 1 shot in the last 4 minutes before the last two in 12 seconds.

                    Re: WIU in Brookings

I am very pleased with the win, very pleased as our guys needed a win badly, and this old grey hairded guy stayed and applauded the team and coaching staff at the end of the game. I did so because they had earned my respect. The wind was howling outside and frost biting, and the preferred parking lot was full for the first time in a long time, but I felt no big hurray to get home.

WIU is as Coach said in post game interview very scrappy and they seem to have some very affective two men traps. They trapped Sargent more than once and I thought that was very unusual. Our guys are not a veteran team, and I certainly dont expect them to play like seniors, until they are seniors.

Mo has played very good and did some great things before the injury. I hope its only a sprain, but people around me heard a crack when he hit the floor, so if its not broken, we will be very lucky.

The word from players coming out of the locker room said that Mo has a compound fracture of the arm and is done for the season. Thanks Mo, for all you gave to SDSU. You are a Jackrabbit forever.

It got a little frustrating at the end waiting for it to end. I know they were trying to foul, but we did not need to and the game went on and on and on...Couldn't wait for the end to hear the school song and see the guys enjoying a win finally. Good job Jacks. Too bad about Mo, he has been playing pretty hard lately.

I went to the games, too. Great wins. Lots of fun to watch. It also was fun to see the 50-plus former Jack players parade out onto the floor at halftime of the men's game for a little recognition. But why weren't they introduced? There was enough time. The PA guy could have at least quickly read off the names of the men who were there. The ex-players deserved that. Instead they were just introduced in clusters -- 1970s, 1980s, etc. That left fans guessing who someone might be.

Yeah, we're sitting around right now trying to guess who all of the guys were . . .
