I am still in the mind not made up stage. If this teams continues to compete and show improvement this year things look good. BUT, if the wheels fall off, I think they might have to consider changes. Is that a fair assessment?

Tonight, taken with the loss at Centenary, is the sound of wheels shimmying towards the end of the axle.

On the other hand, ORU beat Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse last year.

Still, this game does not indicate that we are ready to compete in the Summit League.

Nagy's post-game comments will be interesting. I'm expecting the "I didn't get them ready to play" tack. We'll see.

I think the team snuck out and found a bar last night. And the refs were there with them too. Terrible game. This is two hours of my life I'll never get back.

Changing the subject a bit, do we have one more scholarship available for next year after Davis and Radar have signed? I dont know if that Gopher would be a great get. From what I have read he has an attitude problem. He is a great athlete though.

Baby steps forward and then giant leaps backwards. I expected much more from our first conference trip...but evidently most of the team left their game in SD...Kai left his in Shreveport.

Just to be clear, I'm still not hitting the panic button.

I'm just really upset, a bit angry actually, with how the Jackrabbits failed to compete tonight. I'm pretty upset that Beran and Callahan were late for the shootaround and got themselves benched for the start of the game. It just went downhill from there.

The only blessing, I guess, is that the ice storm forced me to retreat home to KC so that I didn't have to witness this debacle in person.

I don't expect to see another horrid game like this again this year.

Williams and Beran get six between them and Beran barely plays. You can't stay in with those lineup holes. Are they really that more athletic? Time for some coachin' from Oral.

I didnt realize that Ben and Garrett were late. No excuse for that. AThletically were are overmatched. Really Kai, Mo, Ben and Dale are the only guys who could match up with mid majors, let alone high majors. Mo still has to get it going and Dale is still young.

Davis makes sense because of his size, but we need some athletes on the wing. Thats why Radar doesnt make much sense, no offence intended.
