There was a small mention of the Mid Con final tonight and that SDSU would be in it next year. For those that aren't aware, it would lend them to think that SDSU could be in that tourney next year, but unless I am mistaken, SDSU has to wait until the 2008-09 for any post season play. Good exposure anyway...

i thought we could participate in conference championships in 07-08 but are not eligible for ncaa tourney until the 08-09 season - can anyone clarify?

We can participate in the Conference Regular Season Championship (and go to the NIT), but not the post season Conference Tourney because if we won the Auto Bid the conference would not have a school in the big dance costing every school in the Mid-Con their share of the CBS $$$.
