And the Vandal fans are pi$$ed haha. Might be a few not so happy teams when we beat them this year.

Yes, there are several unhappy threads going on over there right now . . .

      Good.

I gotta admit, I'm having a little trouble letting tonight go. It just feels so good to have a good men's basketball team again - - and one that will continue to get better every game over the course of this season.

I won't be able to make the UWGB game, but those of you who will be in my seats (and you know who you are) had better make lots and lots of noise, and bring about 50 friends each to the game.

Make Frost Arena what it once was--and what it was during the WNIT vs. Indiana last year.

Make it hurt for the other guys.

        Pretty please? For filbert?

Sounds like Kai stepped it up big time last night.....great to see and it's what this team needed. He's got talent and all the tools to be a great one in SDSU history. Awesome feeling to win back to back DI games. That is a first if I'm not mistaken. Sounds funny but after all that has happened to the program the past few years it a HUGE step in the right direction. UWGB may be the toughest opponent on the schedule so far this season...how tough....well they play Wisconsin in a few weeks and I know Bo isn't looking forward to playing them.

Find a few friends....encourage them to attend the game and for crying out loud, get enough people at the game so the Frost staff has to pull out the end bleachers upstairs....if anything the team that is coming to Frost is solid....they are good DI program. They aren't St. Cloud, NSU, Morningside, Augie or USD.

If the Jacks win Saturday night....then people will start to buzz about the transformation being completed. If they lose it's not a big deal or the end of the world...in a few years a game like Saturday night will be dreaded by the visiting team. You have to sense the tide is shifting. Winning breads success and has a huge impact on recruiting. Having a full gym or nearly full gym increases atmosphere. Atmosphere sells a school when prospects attend games.

The pride in the program is coming back!

The coach at Idaho seems to be a big target of scorn. Also not sure what the talk about a D1 A football staduim is all about. If they have a 16k basketball facility, why did they move the game to their old Hoosier gym? Idaho has problems we dont have, and yes they point out that we are a D1 transitional team. One poster gave us credit for having talent and my he was scorned off the board. I do think their coach is a victum of the Peter Prinicple. Looking at his bio, he has done very good at the JUCO level, but leaping to D1, he may be over his head. They did have the size and talent that should have beaten us, but they lost by 18. If I were a Vandal, I would not be happy either.

Haven't had my wife check the home email yet, but I'm hoping I have a similar email waiting for me. Glad you got it worked out.

When I am out of the Brookings area, I have been reluctant to sign up for this service for the reasons just mentioned. Audio and video problems. I certainly I think Mrs, W and MJA have done the correct consumer thing and requested a refund. I think this kind of service needs better technology for how its operated and how its piped to the consumer.

WNAX AM signal was not too bad west of Fargo last evening so I got to hear the game. There are stations near 570 am that create harmonics, but that usually happens about 6 or 7 in the PM. The 9PM Central start worked in my favor this time.

Too bad the 570 does not reach Regina and Milwaukee in the evenings. This time of year would probably provide the best opportunity, but maybe thats not the case. Also the video part would be left to your imagination. Having experience kerosene lamps and battery radios in my early life, I still find radio drama and comedy like Prairie Home Companion and CBS'S Mystery Theater more interesting than athletics. I dont know why.

I hope some one is listening and noting these problems. The concept is great for those out of the area, but it has to work to make it worth $6.95 per month.

No, you wouldn't. The talk about Sirius above is a guy hoping that SDSU will get their games broadcasted on a Sirius station. That is my take on it anyways.

From what I'm hearing, it seems this Jump TV thing is blowing up in everyone's faces. A few glitches here and there are understandable, but this seems to be developing into a real problem.

Am I accurate in this? Or is it an overexaggeration?
