    Northern Iowa

    Northern Iowa comes to town this Friday night with a 7:00 tip.

    This is another chance for our team to get that quality win that we all want so badly.

    The students will home for Thanksgiving, so I am calling on Jackrabbit Nation to come to Frost Arena and watch some basketball. Bring all the relatives along because these guys could use some support!

    Let's all make a little noise while we are there and work of some of that turkey, stuffing, and mash potatoes with gravy.

      I plan on being there, along with my father and brother.

      I hope these guys aren't as good as their football team...

        That sounds like a good idea. I might try and find someone to ride along and head up there on Friday. Looks like a good reason to go do a little "Christmas shopping" and head to Cubbies.

          Holy cripes sakes....just was at UNI's basketball page, checking out their bball roster...came across this behemoth... http://unipanthers.cstv.com/sports/m..._jordan00.html

          Starting Five appear to be Koch, Behemoth, Josten, Brown and Dunham.

          Josten looks deadly from the arc at 9-13 so far, also Eric Coleman is their leading scorer coming off the bench at 14.8 ppg, he's no small boy either 6'6" 240.

          I'm looking forward to this game and hopefully we can control the ball a little more on friday.

            I plan to be there. It looks like the snow here in the northern Black Hills should stop by tomorrow so we don't have to worry about travel conditions. It will probably be my only game of the year. How can I recognize some of the other posters on this board while I'm there. It would be fun to meet a few of you.

              I'll be the one wearing SDSU gear. But seriously, I sit behind the student section about seven rows up just off the Jacks bench. Its always great to meet other members of the message board.

                              The first 1000 fans get a free "ice scraper" from the Orthopedic Institute. No free ice cream but you can buy all the ice cream you would like.
