Jacks seem to have control of this game but 20 plus turnovers and an even game on the boards is not acceptable against a fledgling DII team. If I'm Mary I start shooting quick 3's and go all out on defense fouling whenever you get beat by your guy. See what happens with our guys at the FT line.

Sounds like the Mary coach read my mind while I was typing this. I must say I don't have a great deal of optimism on the basis of these first 2 games.

We need to start making free throws. Have missed way too many FT's and too many turnovers. This is not a team that should be this close at the end of the game.

We are BARELY shooting free throws at 50% again...for cripes sakes....they're FREE THROWS guys....I can go in there and barely shoot 50%....

Out rebounding us 37-31, that is about hustle, desire, and pride. A spade is a spade. 22 turnovers and miserable FT shooting, thats a lack of discipline and preparation. A shovel is a shovel. This team needs to make some significant progress in a big hurry or its going to be an even longer year than last.

Now, someone find the positives for me. I'm not in a good frame of mind right now.

Steve Imming just stated that the next 28 teams will be tougher than Mary. We gotta get tougher inside and start making the short shots and free throws.
