    it says Virginia spent over 22 million on Mens bball alonel!

    Virginia's includes money spent on their new arena. The value also includes coaches salaries and that skews the difference between the top paying and lower paying school. I would argue most uni's dont recoup the BIG money some of their coaches get paid.

      Just to add, the model that applies to most schools is that after salaries are factored out, the uni contributes basically two dollars to the budget for every one that is fund raised.

        So does anybody know what the basketball program made... I heard only 10% of D-I basketball programs turn a profit before the boosters step in with hefty donations.
