New Floor!!!

I've heard they have began stripping down the floor at our beloved Frost Arena.

Any word on what is going to go on the new floor as far as design(s)??

All I've heard are the colors will be closer to the SDSU Blue/Yellow and the checkerboard ends are staying!!!! ;D

I would venture to guess you will see the new Summit League logo on the floor. Just speculation. It's too bad they haven't made a decision on the new SDSU Logo. They could have possibly put that down there as well.

ORU fan here. I wanted to tell you guys that I really like your new board and new logo. Looks great!

I think mtuschen is right - redoing the floor probably has to do with the new conference affiliation, but after redoing your whole floor, I wonder how much effort will be required to redo the three point lines for next year. It's too bad that the two things didn't coincide, so that both changes could be made at once.

I hear it'll be mostly the same but with a blue that more closely matches the blue of the student bleachers. The floor hasn't been redone in 18 years.

Definitely liking the new blue. I am a fan of the stretch SD so I am happy with the center court logo. I also like the word Jackrabbits (I hope is has the s). Can't wait to see it in person.

I've seen the new floor in person and I will say it looks great! The color is right on and the changes they made to the lanes and the huge stretch-SD in the middle looks great!!! I think people are really going to be impressed when they see it for the first time. It looks like a coat or two of finish needs to be put on and then it will be ready!
