With the Drake job about to open up again, will we need to be looking at a new coach come this time next week? Anyone remember if Henderson was in play for Drake last year?

does Drake pay a lot? how?

I dont see that Drake is an upward move from the Jacks. i am sure someone can point out some advantages they have, but when the entire picture is considered, I dont see them as a move UP

There's going to be a lot of the higher level mid-major coaches moving up to Power 4 jobs including schools like Drake and Colorado State. Which means that Hendo's name will likely be in the rumor mill for a number of positions. You have to wonder if that's part of the reason Oscar hasn't portaled yet. I'm sure Hendo would like to bring him with if he goes to a place with enough $ to afford him.

Colorado St is much more likely than Drake. Drake isn't a big move up, MVC is a 1 bid league now. The new Pac 12 isn't the same as the old one, but a whole 2 levels up from Drake. The MVC has lost a lot of its luster the last 10 years.

Are we forgetting the Hendo is from Iowa? I think Drake would be hard for him to turn down if offered.

I'm afraid of losing him to Drake. Not as worried about Colorado State, for some reason. But Drake... eesh.

Last two coaches at Drake are coaching P4 programs … Iowa and Indiana.

Hendo is probably not on THAT kind of fast track but might be hard to pass on that kind of a job … Drake IS a better job in a better conference
