And they complain when they get called for defensive fouls too.

They are an extremely easy team to cheer against.

Jackrabbit fans need to develop a wah, wah cry for these guys.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

When I was growing up in Minnesota, Edina was winning state basketball and hockey tournaments right and left. Rich affluential suburb, produced a bunch of whiny, preppy looking kids who came to be known as cake eaters. Watching St. Thomas somehow jogged this term back into my memory.

Well the sun came up this morning, but last night was a nightmare.

I would encourage all SDSU fans to show up tonight and cheer for Omaha and UND.

Obviously cheering for Omaha because they are playing the mangy dogs.

But also cheering for UND because an Omaha vs St Thomas championship makes for a non-interesting game (Omaha gets tourney bid no matter who wins).

Is midco seriously not covering the semifinals? I didnt realize the games at 7 and looks like cbssn is the only way to watch. Not gonna pay for that so guess I'm gonna cheer on duke and call it an early night. I hope summit league gets wise and gets away from cbssn and gets games back on the espn+. I see so many fewer games since the switch.

Does it have something to do with Thak potentially being Thag Simmons', from the The Far Side's, brother?

The box score says 7597 attended this game and I was among them. I think that was a good representation from the fans considering the circumstances but admittedly they crowd thin out more and more after halftime.

It was a tough way to go out, for our men.

But, it took a career night from a guy who went bezerk, and a horrific display of offensive basketball from our guys.

This was still a successful season. Replacing all 5 starters and playing 6 freshmen in your rotation, is going to lead to inconsistent play, and we had some of that, but seemed to fight through it for the most part.

The loss of Owen was much bigger than any of us feared, me included. He just always played so calm and smart, and it made a difference when he wasn't out there. We had just started to see him start to assert himself too (He played EXCELLENT in the last two home games against ST and Omaha...arguably our best player in those games).

There is no reason, they can't shake this off, and come back next year loaded to go.

And anyone dumping on Hendo or the staff... I feel sorry for you. Here's a guy who has won 20+ games EVERY season (except the covid year), and replaced his entire squad on the fly twice, and always puts out a contending team. I would bet there are at least 6 other summit league schools who would snatch him up in a second if you offered them to switch coaches.

I'm a proud Jackrabbit fan, win or lose.
