  • GDT: Jackrabbits vs Roos 1pm FB&T Arena CBSSN

The Jackrabbit men welcome the Roos to Brookings for the Jackrabbit Senior Day. The last win for the Roos in Brookings was 1/27/2011. The Jackrabbits need this last home win to stay in the hunt for a 2 seed in the SLT. KC was the preseason choice to win the conference. There are good players on the roster that has slipped to 8th place. They are without a road win in conference. HC Menzies will want to get his players up to the level of early expectations hoping to avoid a play-in 8/9 game in Sioux Falls. FB&T Arena will bring the support for the Jackrabbits to win. Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Hoping we don't need him very long as I'm sure he still is healing and we need him full strength the next few weeks.

Gonna have to guard the 3 point line a little tighter.

Hopefully Jackson just banged knees with someone.

Larson goes down with a non-contact knee injury at the buzzer. That did not look good at all...

Awful turnover at the end of the half. Now Larson hurt. Jacks awful on last possessions of half and game.

Classic torn ACL. That will kill the Jacks season and really hurt next year.

Lindsey played like crap, he just does not impress me. Doesn't play smart and makes lazy passes.

Agree 100%. As great as Hendo is a coach, his last possessions have been horrendous this year.

Seemed to forget about Oscar the last 5 minutes.

I just saw him on court, but they never showed replay. Wonder if they'll show replay after halftime show, b/c others are already saying it was ACL

Rough half. Could've pulled away many times but stupid turnovers and bad possessions limited us. Sayler continues to be really cold at times. He doesn't really get buckets in system or sets, really just goes one on one. Maybe that's how Hendo wants it. Our energy just hasn't seemed to be there the last two games. Hoping Larson's injury was minor but we are going to have a hard time winning in Sioux Falls without him.

Thanks for posting the link, Peavy. Jackson starts the second half in place of the injured Larson.

nobody should take anything said here as anything close to a fact. but yes it certainly has the look of a serious knee injury. if so, a very sad way for Owen to end a wonderful freshman year
