Definitely disappointed in the ending, and it seemed like White had a couple circus shots that he just flung up go in.

It was awesome seeing McCormick, Kraft, and Sanders in the crowd backing the Jacks too. Just wish they'd have witnessed a victory.

Here's to avenging loss in Sioux Falls.

first of all, I dont really care what the NCAA wants to call them, play in games are post season wins, but they have never felt like real tourney wins to me. anyone can disagree or not with that point of view, but however you count those what does winning a tourney game have to do with being a good team? if that is the definition of a good team, the Jacks have NEVER had a good basketball team. seriously, NEVER

if all 4 play in winners lose the next game, and you count their play in wins as ncaa tourney wins, then you have at most 36 good teams in the country every year. related to this, if you apply this standard to WBB then our WNIT champ team from a few years ago was NOT a good team

i guess each person has their own definition, but my definition of a good team is not-

GOOD TEAM= won NCAA tournament game
BAD TEAM= did not win NCAA tournament game

i said very clearly, I dont think ndsu has a great team, but they have a bunch of dangerous capable players. they have won 20 games- I believe all of them vs D1 opponents

ok enough of me defending ndsu

I thought Owen had one of his worst games tonight. both dribbled and passed into trouble on many occasions. i do not believe it had anything to do with being tired. simply, he is young, and he tried to force things and he made too many bad decisions. Sayler is streaky and he was not hot tonight and this was a very rare game for us when really nobody was hot

agreed, if we play them in SF, they need to be respected. a double digit loss for them in the SLT is very very rare. they play tough at that time of the year

Gladly eat crow if they do, but this year's NDSU team doesn't scare me at all like past teams.
you make very valid points about the differences with 2024-25 ndsu vs traditional ndsu

that said, I believe the coach is pushing them to play with more toughness. look at the plays Federson made tonight. he was huge for them on the D end and with O board taps. i feel like they made more plays on the defensive end tonight than we did

Bison totally took our crowd out of the game tonight. We're usually worth 3-5 points.
The guys sure like to dribble (bet we lead the Summit).and it drives me crazy.
NDSU definitely game planned Oscar well and he struggled.
Mors needed more minutes and needs to put up more a few more shots when he is out there..
I thought Jackson performed best tonight out of all our players.
Missed Kalen a lot out there today. Especially his defense.
Gotta beat UMKC Sunday to keep in 3 seed a solid option.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think it's good strategy, especially in a tightly contested game, to launch 25-30 foot three-point attempts rather than working it around for a better percentage shot.

Bison had a good game plan to deal with Cluff and really packed it in on him. In addition, they hit shots all night long and only had 4 turnovers. Moni is a good player but everything he threw up went in last night. Seemed like they got the majority of the 50/50 balls and breaks.

Jacks played hard but it wasn't enough. Jacks had 16 offensive rebounds. Garry was missed for sure. Took a lot of ill advised shots last night with many early in the shot clock. Thought we had a chance when we the Bison had 6 fouls with over 10 to go in second half but we didn't draw a lot more.

Hate losing to them but it just wasn't our night. Crowd was into it last night.

Loss makes the path in the SLT tougher but we have the depth and talent to get it done along with it being our crowd. Will be fun in SF as always.

Yes, we looked tired last night. Would've been much wiser to drive inside and take higher percentage shots. Getting an off day through a 1/2 seed in Sioux Falls would be great but going to need some things to go our way the next two weeks to do that.

Until Garry returns, I wouldn't mind Stoney getting some minutes at the 3 along with Oscar and Mors. They did it for a brief time last night for the first time that I recall. It should work against teams that don't play 3 guards. And it would allow more of a rotation with our guards not having to play the entire game.

Yeah tough night. A lot of credit to NDSU, good game plan well executed and they also got some breaks on the road. They got better shots than we did and they also made some very difficult shots. It is an adjustment and I feel like not having Kalen out there setting the tone for our defense really made a difference. There were tiimes especially early when our defense was not good at all but I think they really got in it and then even when our defense got tougher they made tough and extremely timely shots. Ultimately, the guys fought and just couldn't get over the hump.

Sunday becomes big day. First have to hold on to the 3 seed and anything above that is out of our control. Hopefully the team can get a couple of good practices again and come to terms with Kalen not being in there. I know nothing about his injury but seeing him in the boot last night on the bench doesn't indicate a quick return, I just hope there is a possibility of returning for the tournament.
