3rd year HC Crutchfield brings the first place Mavs(10-1) to Brookings following a 6-9 OOC record. The Jackrabbits need to get this home game win to stay within reach of the top 2 seed. Expect both teams to play hard and physical. I am not sure what the bookies have for the spread, but I would give a slight edge for the home team. Pizza for the first 400 students should help that portion of the crowd. Go Jacks!!

If we play with similar intensity as last week...and play as permitted by the refs (St. Thomas was up to its usual style of play and last Thursday we took the gloves off and punched back), this is a winnable game between the #1 team, Omaha, and I think the actual #2 team right now, Jackrabbits (in spite of St. Thomas having the #2 spot in the league ranking). Last Thursday's game showed SDSU rapidly coming together to play their best basketball of the season at exactly the right time.

I hope the First Bank & Trust Arena is at its loudest tonight...I'm looking forward to being there, making some noise..

The white unis were just a single use design for military night. Far better than the ugly camo ones that went viral a few seasons back!

If could ever go on a heater for an entire game like some of the streaks he has had, he could put up 40 +.

That was a big win. Omaha was never really in it. Small blip before halftime but other than that a really complete game.

USD is playing far better the last 2 weeks. Sunday should be a good game.

This is a, maybe surprisingly, very good team. Fun to watch true team basketball. Hopefully see the Coyote Sports Center blue on Sunday and the Summit League tourney even more blue than usual. Time to get behind this team these next few weeks and really support this brand of basketball.
