Well, UNDs averages have went down, but ours haven't gone up to where they usually are, so unless we have a really nice run to finish the game, we aren't going to pull this one out. Good thing is, we have the talent to do it, but it'll be tough.

DEFINITELY there are things the Jacks could have done better today! especially in the beginning of the game to keep und from getting rolling and feeling confident

that said, und has made a ton of shots that were well defended. even with the percentage coming down in the second half, they have still hit plenty of shots that they are not going to make too often

one big assist for a team that is NOT good on defense, they are getting called for 1 out of every 4 or 5 fouls they commit. i know they got called for 10+ fouls in the second half. but they fouled us 5 times on every offensive possession. hip checkin and arm whackin like they're gettin paid for it

I was referring to one minute span in the second half when they weren’t sure what to call. The 10 second call that wasn’t and one other thing. They seemed to look at each other not knowing what to do. It was odd.

UND hitting shots they haven't hit most of the season, some of those shots were on weird bounces. SDSU was turning the ball over on UND not. Cluff was not really being a force down low (for him) that he normally is That all makes me think SDSU just had a bad day and UND played as well as they have all year and SDSU only lost by 5 points.
I'm just glad that the young team got this game out of their system now and hope they don't have another one.

This team needs to figure out how to not come out flat and dig themselves big holes on the road. They were fortunate to overcome it in Fargo, but couldn't do it yesterday. I am looking forward to how the team reacts when St. Thomas comes to town on Thursday. It's a must win if the Jacks want to be a top 2 seed in Sioux Falls.
