  • GDT: SDSU vs UND 1pm "The Betty" Midco/SLN

Grand Forks would be a great place to notch the third consecutive win on the road. The 2nd half of the first game with UND was a beginning of tougher defense by the Jackrabbits. It does not hurt when you score 59 in the first half either. Eaglestaff is capable of scoring big points and the Jackrabbits held him to 3-11 and Panaom was 4-11 and King went 0-7. The Jackrabbits need to keep the defense they played in Fargo. Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

The Jacks made a strong statement the final three-fourths of the game at NDSU. Hopefully SDSU can start the UND game with that kind of high-level of play.

Before the game Thursday night I was going to be happy with a split for the weekend. Now it's time to break out the brooms and go for the ND sweep.

Slower start than we even had in Fargo. More turnovers than FG and UND is getting buckets easily.

Defense has been terrible. Getting beat up in the paint.

            They look slow and tiered.

You know they're hot when Eli Freaking King is scoring at will.

So.... wow.... Down 50-35 at half. F'in Hawks shooting an insane 69% from the field, 6-7 from 3. Zero turnovers.

I dont think they can replicate that efficiency in the 2nd half... but if they do, then the basketball gods were fully behind them today.

They are like last or 2nd to last in the league in 3pt percentage. Law of averages is bound to kick in

2 points for Oscar is surely his worst half of the year

Everything he is throwing up is going in. Several were pretty well contested shots too

We did a bad job of stopping penetration, but at the same time, UND shots are falling at a stupid rate. 69% from the field, most of which were at least semi-contested, is ridiculous for any team in the country, let alone an 8-15 team that shoots 31% from beyond the arc.

The laws of averages should kick in the 2nd half, but otherwise I'm going to consider a UND victory divine intervention.

They are just shooting out of their mind right now. They will have to go 0 fer in the second half to even out their luck.

Jacks need a second half like the one at NDSU. Need to create some UND turnovers too
