The Jackrabbits lost down there last year. (we got robbed by a pretty terrible out of bounds call, but we lost)
They won this year. Despite having 5 different starters. KC returned all 5 starters. Their announcers mentioned that last night, SDSU replaced their whole lineup, and the KC lineup is exactly the same as last year when we played down there.
And we won. Last year's summit league champions, lost down there.
If we can win 50% of our conference games on the road (and we've only lost to the top 2 squads right now) and win at home, we're going to be good.
I swear, this fanbase HAS become spoiled. Enjoy this young squad...they are doing so well... stop with the hand wringing.
OK, I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it's disappointing to see our fans criticize our team when it's basically a whole new team. And they are doing very good.
Good point, it’s borderline delusional sometimes. Expecting more than 3 or 4 conference road wins for a team full of freshmen is setting yourself up to be unhappy. They were one second from getting a win at St. Thomas - you won’t see many teams come close to that this year.
