Damn. Jacks should’ve won that. Too many mental mistakes including the last 10 seconds.

Jeez, a few of you need to step back from the ledge.
Playing at the (possibly) most talented team in the league, on their court, with 5 new starters, we lost by 1.
Last year, we beat them there on a last second shot by Zeke Mayo.
This team is fine. Hendo and crew are doing a fantastic job.
The only thing wrong with the last possession was the execution. Kalen had a clumsy pass to Oscar, and then kind of lost the ball on the return.
And the officials were absolutely atrocious. They fouled Oscar nearly every time he got the ball (if you count the contact we have on them as fouls). And that offensive foul against Oscar with about a minute left was absolute garbage.
Our team is fine. We're going to be good guys. There will be a few bumps along the way.

The team had a decent game in St Paul. I watched the replay this morning and I am still questioning the 4 calls on Cluff. The refs allowed the Tommies to grab Cluff continuously. The Jackrabbits shot 5-10 free throws in the 2nd half. The Jackrabbits had 13 turnovers compared to the Tommies 4. This was a winnable game on the road. The game in Omaha will not be any easier.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

I would quibble with St. Thomas having the most talented team in the league--our group of freshmen for the most part more than held their own with the Tommies, coming within a second of beating them on their home floor.
And yes, the Tommies were exceptionally grabby and aggressive (although had the Jacks wanted to be, they could easily have been by far the more physical team, IMHO). In general, the more aggressive team gets the calls from the refs. Playing aggressive but controlled is one of those things that freshmen have to re-learn for the college game.
I think we'll be fine going forward."I think we'll be OK"
