First year HC Dru Joyce III presents his 0-4 Dukes. They have lost to Lipscomb, Princeton, DePaul, & Milwaukee. The Dukes are not as long in the paint as the Jackrabbits. They do have some longer guards. One of those guards only played 7 minutes against Milwaukee. He may have been injured. Edwards is a 6'5" player averaging 8 points & 5 rebounds. Sayler ought to be back on the court for this tournament. The Jackrabbits ought to take charge of this game. Go Jacks!!

Vegas had Jacks favored by 2.5 which I thought was surprising given Duquesne's record/losses (that 36 point loss to a DePaul team that lost 29 games last year stood out - DePaul is now 6-0 under former OSU coach Chris Holtmann with a brand new roster). Hendo did just comment that 3 of the 4 teams they played were picked to finish first in their league (minus DePaul -- picked to finish last).

Those 11 first half turnovers leading to 10 fast break points for Duquesne kept things close. Only 3 bench points. Jacks play Boise State tomorrow at 12:30pm CST.

Haven't seen the box score, but the starters must have played big minutes. Zero points from Hadnot, Jackson and Barnhardt, but it didn't seem like they played much based on listening to the radio. Whorton got the only 3 points from the bench.
