Mount Marty will be playing an exhibition game for the Lancers while being a counter for the Jackrabbits. HC Authier is a former Augie assistant who is sporting 22-61 record after 3 years. The yotes defeated the Lancers 77-44 earlier. We should see some bench players tonight. Go Jacks!!

Didn't catch any of the pregame, but Hadnot started in place of Sayler, so Joe must need some time off due to the ankle. Garry's shot looks much better, could be because he's playing the 2 and shooting more from the top rather than the wing. Lindsey is playing and has hit a couple of 3's - has a nice looking shot.

Wilkinson will be fine but hopefully they can find a few more spots to get him minutes to help bring him along. Whorton is making fast strides, he looks more confident each game he gets out there for meaningful minutes. It will be fun to see where this team is by February. There is a lot, a lot of talent here. Fun!The Zen philosopher Basha once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.'

We have 4 posts ahead of Damon... Cluff, Mors, Barnhardt, and Wharton... so although Damon is the 3rd "5", he's not going to have to be relied on, but can come in, in a pinch...and of course be there for the blowouts. Really good position for him to be in. He's going to get some time (but probably not a lot), and experience, without having the weight of being a starting big man against 22/23 year old starters.
