What's the story with Bubz Alvarez? I don't think he's played, other than in the exhibition game against Black Hills State.

Probably safe to assume he's redshirting after not playing Monday night against Mount Marty.

If you are redshirting your sophomore year after playing your true freshman season and there are 3 freshman guards playing ahead of you, that is not a good sign.

If I recall, Dentlinger may have been in a similar situation with Otz.

He kind of got forced into playing last year when Mims and Charlie got hurt early. It was a choice of redshirting him or Sayler, and there was no doubt of which way that was going to go.

#1 It's super exciting that we have all these young, talented, good Guards...

#2, being in the portal era... I'm already worried about losing one (or more) of them... Larson, Garry, Alvarez, Sayler, Hadnot, Alvarez, Jackson, Burton. (leaving Cascio Jensen off the list)

These guys are all Freshmen/Sophomores... and I believe they all have the talent to play.

It's a great problem to have. But it's still going to hurt. (and I realize often it's in their best interest, I understand)

There was a court decision today that could give Oscar Cluff two more years of eligibility. A Vanderbilt football QB sued the NCAA saying that counting JUCO years against eligibility at four year schools was an antitrust violation, and the court ruled in his favor. So if this ruling stands, players like Oscar who played two years at a JUCO would not have those years count against his eligibility. How much fun would it be to see Oscar play beyond this season with our group of young players ?

According to Jackrabbit Twitter, Nate Barnhart will be taking part in Senior Day tomorrow. He is listed as a junior and would have a season of eligibility left after redshirting a year at Wyoming. So he could be planning to grad transfer, or is ready to move on from basketball after graduation.

Hendo mentioned he was graduating and it sounded like he was not playing next year. I am not sure if it was weekly presser or another place.

Contributed more last season, but really lost minutes with Oscar and Wilkinson coming on board.

It's pretty certain that he does because of his two JUCO seasons.
