there is NO DOUBT that the top of the conference is not as strong as it has been!! ORU for the Abmas years and SDSU, NDSU for most or all of the last 10 years have been very strong!! but I also believe it is fair to say that the bottom of the conference has moved up

I guess there are and will be varied opinions about that, but whatever you think the fact is the Jacks still have a chance to win the league or play in the NCAA or both.
should be at least 3 interesting and meaningful games today

after losing on Thursday, Denver has no real shot at a top 2 seed. will they hang their heads? will they keep battling for positive momentum going into the SLT? if they hang their heads they will not beat the bison at home today
my guess is Denver will come out looking to turn things around after losing to UND. i am gonna predict a close game here. i feel like the bison have to be a tiny favorite, but i am not ready to count Denver out

ORU is in the same boat as Denver, but i am feeling like they get a big win today. If UND gets the win in Tulsa they need to be taken seriously the rest of the way
UNO can see a path to a top 2 seed and they are gonna be fired up at home
I really avoid predictions for the Jacks, but i am confident they play a LOT better than they did Thursday!! if UNO wins today they will have to TAKE IT from the Jacks. the Jacks are not gonna give it away today

St Thomas is sitting very nice one game out of 1st and hosting USD at home today. this seems like the easiest game to predict for today. obviously it will be the one with the most surprising result)) haha

NDSU beating Denver by 10 at the half
I guess nobody has been paying any attention (nobody meaning amongst Jacks fans) since we have the girls going

bison extend the lead from 10 to 20 in less than 4 minutes to start the second half. appears Denver is cashing it in. Jacks need to make them do the same thing next week in Brookings

Bison are having one of those hot shooting games like they had against the Jacks in the semi's a year ago.

Brunner makes a VERY hard 3 to tie it. Pioneers hit 3s on both following possessions. Denver up 6

Hendo doesn't burn them very easy either, but when your opponent is on a 41-15 run , you probably need to give in.

I did not watch the whole time. i saw bison up by 20. the next time i looked it was down to 6. are we sure he did not take at least one somewhere in that stretch?

                        Denver wins by 6
impressive comeback by Denver. they looked VERY dead in the water with 15 minutes to go

NDSU is out of the regular season champ conversation... ALMOST
if UND beats ORU tonight it is over for the bison as far as winning the league. if UND loses, they go to Fargo next week. NDSU could be back to one game behind UND with both teams hosting the Jacks the final week

They didn't. At one point a Bison player dribbled over to the bench expecting him to call one, but he looked the other way.

Interesting! there are definitely Bison fans who DO NOT like Richmond. that will probably add fuel to the fire, but i would imagine he is more than safe as far as his bosses are concerned. i have to say, maybe it cost him this time, but I like the idea that he wants his team to respond to adversity without him having to stop the game and hold their hand and he believes that they can and should do it

again, maybe it cost them today, but he has kind of proven that he can develop teams that are mentally tough and do respond to adversity

ORU is really going in the tank. Down by 15 to UND in Tulsa at the half.
