  • I’m a fan of this. The top NSIC players can play in the Summit. I think we need to do more of this going forward. Still needing some additional size/athleticism on the roster for defense/rebounding.

I know the kid from Wisconsin high school basketball … he played at Lake Country Lutheran high school. A very good mid-sized school. The kid was/is a phenomenal athlete … QB of their state championship football team. Best player on their 2X state winning basketball team. I always thought he would’ve been a better collegiate FB player than BB player. But he is arguably one of THE best high school athletes I’ve seen in a decade.

He succeeded at LCL bball because there was no one who was as strong and as quick as he was … played SF and just overwhelmed his opponents but I thought those advantages would narrow in college … not real tall, maybe his shooting has improved.

The kid is tough, physical, extremely capable, strong as an ox and arguably the best athlete on any court. Shot 28.9% from 3P range, not elite but decent.

Would like to see the 3pt percent better but I trust the coaches. I like seeing low 30s at worst for those taking a fair amount of attempts.

I agree especially at the lower level he was playing at.
I do know this he will work on it.
Helluva defender, slasher kind of player.

          • Maybe he can dwarf into the next Charlie Easley.

Not sure it is a fair concern but if he succeeds I could see him onto Nebraska or Iowa. 3rd school in 3 years.

Sure don't need a dwarf on the bball team
