  • GDT: K-State Wildcats vs SDSU Jackrabbits 7pm Bramlage Coliseum ESPN+

K-State is coached by 2nd year HC Jerome Tang. In 2022-23 Tang led the preseason last place Wildcats to 3rd place and earned COY in the Big 12. This year the Wildcats are preseason 6th place. They have all upper classmen who have transferred into Manhattan. The 5 R/Fr & Fr seem to be high school recruits into K-State. They are 1-1 with a loss to rated USC and a win over Bellarmine at home. They have played 11 in each game. Tang spent 19 years at Baylor as assistant coach & associate head coach. He spent a many of those years with our old friend Paul Mills. Watch for guard & 5th year senior Perry to lead the Cats. The Jackrabbits should be able to keep this game within reach and be around at the end of the game to win one on the road at Manhattan. Go Jacks!!

Former Creighton player Arthur Kaluma will be unavailable today. He played 36 minutes against USC and 29 minutes against Bellarmine.

Appel stepping up and hitting two big 3s!

        Nice wrinkle to the offense

Zeke needs to step up his defense. Barnhart looking more comfortable tonight.

            Zero creativity on offense.

Thank god Kaluma wasn’t available. Bad energy and bad ball movement (bad officiating?). Thank god for Charlie, he’s playing his rear end off. Hopefully he can energize the others and we can stay within reach to make a run. Go jacks!

K State gets by with a lot of contact.

Yep, they're WAY more physical than SDSU is.

If the refs don't call it, it's not a foul, I guess.

Can someone who's more knowledgeable about basketball officiating please explain that sequence to me?
