  • GDT: SDSU Jackrabbits vs UMary Marauders Exhibition 8:30pm Frost Arena

Mary has returning guard Zyon Smith who leads the Marauders. He is a 6'4" senior. We should be aware that an assistant coach for the Marauders is a fellow named Michael Orris. Let's have a great game for the Jackrabbits. Go Jacks!!

Michael Orris has had a couple of very bad things happen in his short life and he was there for one year when we needed him, so I hope he gets a warm welcome. However, why are we playing weak NSIC teams and NAIA teams? I know there's a danger in Augie and Northern coming away with a win ten percent of the time and that would look terrible, but you'd have good crowds and at least a bit of interest. Even Southwest Minnesota would be in driving range of a few of their fans, but Mary?

As an exhibition, this is a non-counter in the W-L. If either Augie or Northern were to play a counter, I can understand the fear of a loss. This is a fun night. Monday night will be a competitive game against Akron.

I'd agree, but this seems to be the MO these days. Sunday, Nebraska's men played Doane and Nebraska's women played Dakota Weslyan in exhibitions.

With 15 players on the roster, they likely wanted to schedule an opponent that allows them to get everyone some minutes. Especially the potential redshirts that won't get the chance when games count.

That’s not great. Hope the Jacks make sure to give Te Slaa, Garry, and Sayler extended looks tonight.

Zimmer mentioned him specifically (in his article today) as one of the new guys that has turned heads.

It would be great to see Mors come out swinging tonight.

Tanner Castora mentioned that on Twitter as well.

Tyler just confirmed that on radio broadcast. Sounds like injury happened Sun.
