HC Wulbrun has the Pios up to 11 wins again this year which is a big improvement over the years before his tenure. He has some solid players which kept the game in Frost closer than the final score where the final 5 minutes the Jacks built a 15 point spread following Zeke leaving with a foot injury. Denver is an efficient team with some length. Bruner leads the Pios as the PG. Mims stifled his game at Frost. Bruner had 2 offensive fouls(and 1 defensive) against Mims to illustrate his frustration. Denver also only made 6 free throws which is 10 below their average. The Jackrabbits have been winning the turnover stat recently and also holding their own rebounding. Easley was back for the yotes and we can hope he is available tonight as well. Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Jacks defense has been less than stellar tonight.

Jacks have found their way back into this. Impressive effort. The SDSU crowd there is loud!

This is more of a Denver meltdown than a Jacks comeback. Lots of mental mistakes

What a comeback! Jacks are a win and NDSU likely loss to ORU on Saturday away from the #2 seed.

Huge comeback win. 23 point turnaround in the final 13 minutes. When Zeke gets hot, look out.

i am not disagreeing with you that the Pios did some shooting their own feet

but i also give the jacks credit for switching their plan on both ends of the floor and finding some energy. and they deserve some of the credit for encouraging Denver to crumble. I also dont understand Denvers offensive game plan they have one good post and one, in my opinion, really good post (Kisunas has been excellent against us in both games) and it seems like they kind of get the ball to them accidentally and they have very little inside out action

does not seem like this team is getting the most out of their talent, but they are talented enough that i would rather not play them in a one and done situation

It's probably safe to say that there has never been a comeback of this size without the help of the team blowing the lead. Watching the highlights, the Jacks definitely upped their game in the second half.

T Merriam called the crowd about 50/50 Jackrabbits. The sound of the crowd on radio was very distinct as Jackrabbit noise more than 50/50. That is great support out in the mountains.

I have to admit I gave up on the game shortly after the half. Lots of guys with foul issues and a big deficit typically don’t lead to a happy ending on the road. I was pretty surprised to see that they pulled it off this AM.

This team is far from perfect but they have some intangibles. I’m definitely starting to get pumped for the SLT.

Might be a bit of a stretch, but it isn't too far off either. A majority of the non-Jackrabbits were not super into the game. The halftime show was a bunch of kids jumping rope, so you had a bunch of families that were there to watch their kids and not for the game. It's really a shame DU can't draw better.
