  • GDT: Denver vs SDSU 2pm Frost Arena Midco2

Denver will be bringing an efficient shooting team that averages 50% from the field. They have a couple of bigs that shoot very well inside. That may have been the key in Vermillion as they are looking for 2 in a row on the road. PG Bruner may be a shoot first guy who leads scoring with 3.9 assists per game. They also get to the free throw line a bunch where they average 70% and counting 17.6 points/game. They are outrebounding opponents by 4.8/game. The Frost Arena has been a good place for the Jackrabbits to gain FG% and rebounds. The Pork Classic may also help amuse the Pios. The pork sandwiches may not be available due to the remodeling. It is still a great day to come cheer the men to victory Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Zeke with 7 3's in the first half, but everyone else kind of standing around and watching. Jacks getting outplayed inside.

And the second half was the complete opposite. William Kyle was dominant on both ends!

Zeke is already a star, but I think we are seeing another one in the making with Kyle.

Hendo's T got the team and the crowd going after all the emotion got sucked out of the building after Zeke went down.

He claimed the T was intentional on the radio interview. Wanted to provide a spark at a critical moment.

Damn, W Kyle has enormous potential. He’s so much better than when we we’re struggling through those non-conference games.

Speaking of those early games, take a look at where E Washington and Boise St currently are. The Jacks still can do some big things if Zeke̢۪s ok.

He thought he should have been able to pick the free throw shooter after Mayo got hurt.

Loved his interview with Tyler. What a well-spoken young man. Loves to play in Frost, don't think we have to worry about him and the portal for awhile.

Opposing coach selects the shooter per Section 3, Art. 3 (pg. 81), unless there'd been a flagrant foul, in which case Hendo would've selected the shooter.

Against baylor in the ncaa tourney, the girl faked an injury, and crazy kim i thought subbed in their best ft shooter to replace the injured player. Does the womens game have different rules? Pretty sure we didnt get to pick the ft shooter.

Yes, the rules are different, assuming I understand Sec. 3 (pg.s 74-75) correctly.

Jacks have a big 5 day road stretch starting Thursday with games at St. Thomas, Western and make-up game at KC. A win or two on this trip would be a big help in keeping the # 2 spot in the standings.

Looks like I have to root for 'Yotes on 1/30, unless Denver or Omaha can pull off upset vs. ORU earlier in week.
