That might be the worst half of basketball they’ve played this year. UND up 13 at the break. Jacks can’t shoot once again.

Dug ourselves out of a big hole at halftime and managed to hang on in the final minute despite three turnovers at the end. Ugly but it’s a conference road win and we will gladly take it. -
2nd Half of the UND game, Hendo finally "took the reigns off" a bit.
Starting with the Summit League games, Jacks had gone almost exclusively to the ball screen continuity (Gonzaga calls it Bulldog), and they ran that consistently through the first half of the UND game.
2nd Half. They started running some other things. (looked like the offense from the past 2 years) They went back to that a few times, but didn't do it every time. Really opened some things up.
(that's what I saw...maybe there was no change in calls...but we were sure moving more, and setting more off ball screens.)
I'm sure the reasoning was turnovers... if we can't play without turning it over, we're going to go boring continuity stuff. It's still effective, but you have to be able to execute it. NDSU's size made that difficult.
Then, at the end of the UND game, the turnovers surfaced again. 3 TO"s and some missed FT's and we had to hold on to our hats!
