The Jackrabbits go to Fargo with a bit more bounce with 2 home wins. The bison also had a lift with the drubbing of the Fhawks at Grand Forks. Nelson and Morgan are the anchors for this team. The young guard play will likely improve as Skunberg is the experience they have. Hastreiter is the 3pt shooter who is averaging over 50% beyond the arc. The preseason pick for 5th place should be attainable for NDSU. The Jackrabbits will need to continue to elevate their game to defeat the bison on the road. The bench will get depth developed as Easley leaves minutes for those players. Go Jacks!!

The Jackrabbits had really been trying to go inside the last few games. (WIU and ST), hard to do that against NDSU with their size.
Had lots and lots of open looks from outside, but couldn't convert. (and yes, there was probably a reason those guys were left alone out there.)
Defense played well enough. WKIII played pretty well I thought. Broden actually hit a 3 on a kickout last night, but missed several others. If he could hit those more consistently, it would be a big boost.
Mors is coming along.
Getting Charlie back will help too, and it's just another set of legs on the perimeter. Right now they are playing 4 perimeter guys, with one of them, True freshman TeSlaa, who is seeing limited minutes.
I said in the 2nd half last night...a road win in the Summit, even by 1 is a good win. Well, we came up short. Hopefully we can string together a better game on Saturday in Grand Forks.
