The Golden Eagles return most of last year's team and they have added 2 transfers. 7'5" Vanover and 6'7" Mwamba are the new faces. They have a 9-3 OOC record. Four of those wins are against lower division foes, but they have also scheduled a number of more difficult opponents. The loss to then #1 Houston was the worse loss. Max Abmas is the motor of the team and he is already averaging over 34 minutes with several complete games. He is scoring 20 points/game, 3+ assists, 5.7 boards, & 2 turnovers. Vanover is averaging 3 blocks to go with his 12.6 points, and 6.9 boards. This will be the 4th home game in a row at Mabee for ORU. ORU is the preseason choice to win The Summit. This is a game where the win will be a catalyst for Jackrabbits entering league play. Hopefully there is a fully healthy team for the Jackrabbits as they start the conference portion of the season. Go Jacks!!

Go Rabbits!
