Jacks get a commit from 6'9 forward Will Whorton from Milwaukee. www.twitter.com/Will_Whorton Looks like a very athletic shot blocker who has a good handle for someone his size.

Hobo Day would be a great day to visit as DJD was filled up and the tailgating was rocking before and after the parade.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

I see Isaac Dennis a National scout and contributing editor for NY2ASPORTS.com has Whorton ranked in the top 5 on Wisconsin 2023 rankings

Saw a tweet from early summer that had him at 8 and rising, so his trajectory is in the right direction.

Looks like we got a big one here. Had an offer from Oregon State. Nice to steal one from the Bison's backyard.

did you see that Tylee Irwin's dad is his coach?

gotta think it did not hurt that he was able to watch very closely how Jackrabbit players are treated by the school the coaches and the fans. this is the first i have heard of this kid, so NOT saying i have any idea what were the factors in his decision!! just saying i doubt that it hurt that his coach has a daughter who just finished an amazing experience as a jackrabbit and he saw the mens program very much up close! obviously he knows one of the mens assistants very well. someone who played the same position as this player

Holy crap…so far for 2023, we have Kraft and Wharton verbals plus Kyle playing now…these guys are 6-8..6-9 and appear to be the long agile guys with hops without even talking about the other big guys Broden Lien or Mors!! One or more of these guys(at least the first three)maybe could play shooting guard at times and match up with the big schools!!!! This seems awesome!!! Of course we have to see how everything plays out, but seems really good so far and helps alleviate for now the loss of Baylor and Doug!!!

Apparently he played football for the first time this fall and showed enough promise as a TE that he recently took an official visit to Kansas State.
