I see USD listed the attendance as breaking 4,000. If there is anywhere close to that there, then there were 8,000 in Frost today.

Can't say I hate him, but I do think he has a uniquely irksome way of framing fouls called against the Jacks versus those called against opponents

I've noticed usd is using the old ORU method for counting attendance. I was there last night, they're lucky if there was 2,000 people there and they were only close to that because of the number of Jacks fans that came. The women's game in Frost had more people in the seats and fans that were more involved in the game. The usd fans were leaving in droves during the last media timeout and their student section was just there.

Was there as well and the 4k reported number is a complete joke. The USD fan turnout was probably under 1500 with 30% of the fans Jacks fans - which is pretty sad for USD. The fans that were there didnt offer a whole lot either. Todd Lee seems to be running that program down. If you're going to have a bunch of international players and very little locally you better at least win with that group or your fan base will start to wither. It was pretty clear SDSU was the more talented and far better coached team.

Lee was League Coach of the Year last season, and one of the local players, AJP, has been injured, so I'd hesitate to say the program's being run down. Nevertheless, if it is, I won't lose much sleep

Both schools were without a top local product and I'd argue ours is more talented. Hope they keep giving Lee coach of the year for 14-11 seasons so he sticks around a while. My opinion they will be middle of the conference at best when its "his guys."

If the Jacks were going to have a cold spell shooting 3's, this was as good a time as any to have it. They've now shown that they can beat good teams without going off from behind the arc. There should be no panic if shots aren't falling in big games to come.
