  • GDT: Jackrabbits vs Fighting Hawks 7pm The Betty Midco/ESPN+

The drive up I29 brings the quick rematch in Grand Forks. The Jackrabbits turned in a great game in the paint and 52% from the 3pt line. Sather may decide to check out some double teams down low tonight. The Jackrabbit defense did a great job on the UND starters who shot 7-32 on Thursday. We will see if this is deja vu of Thursday or new game plans are tested. The Jackrabbits should be favored heavily either way. Go Jacks!!

I will be interested to see if Doug makes the trip. Back spasms and long bus rides do not make good bedfellows. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Hope they have their heads on straight. UND isn't as good as the Jacks, but that doesn't matter in this sport.

Going to be tough to be "up" for it, after an easy win last week, and then a physical battle Saturday against the cows.

It probably helps we had to battle with NDSU and did not shoot well. so if anything, that should be more of a return to form for this game.

Any word on Wilson? when he is hurt or playing through he is still good just not as dominate. When he is healthy he is something special. UND probably will come with a better effort this game but i expect the jacks to be ready after a rough shooting night against NDSU.

Sounds like the back spasms have been an issue since high school, and he typically bounces back quickly. Even though the game is in Grand Forks, a Monday night games against a winless conference team should not exactly be a hostile environment.

And they shouldn't have lost at Idaho.

No road game is a gimme.

Sounds like no Wilson tonight. Makes this a much scarier game.

Wingett needs to play tonight. Absolutely can’t go with only Appel and Dentlinger as our only true forwards

Have no idea if he plays, but the team posted a video of their walk through in Grand Forks, and he was participating.

So true - especially one sitting right between two rivalry games.

Agree with the trap game sentiment. Have to hope the Idaho game is still on the team's mind. Road games never a gimme in college basketball and few extra headwinds on this one.

Judging from a shoot-around video posted on another site, Wilson made the trip to Grand Forks. I don't know what his game status will be. He seems to tweek his back with uncomfortable regularity, but he also recovers pretty quickly.

In 2011-12 a Nate Wolters led team finished 28-7, by all accounts a great team. On December 10th of that season we beat UND 92-54 in Brookings....on December 15th we lost 89-70 in Grand Forks, a 57 point swing. I don't overlook anyone anymore.

His ability to play or not was going to be decided after shoot around.
