  • GDT: USD vs SDSU 6pm Frost Arena Midco/ESPN+

#10 vs #1 in the early Summit League. Yotes are likely feeling some hunger pangs for a victory as the Jackrabbits need to protect the home court t maintain the top spot. USD has been trying to find some offense among the line up with limited consistent success. They have allowed 82 points to ORU in Vermillion. 6 of their 7 wins are home court victories. I expect a chippy yote defense that tries to disrupt the Jackrabbits as the main theme. Their big man Kamateros will not be shy about launching long shots. Kamateros and Goodrick will be leading the rebounds as well. The USD team averages 11.4 assists on 55.6 shots(24.8 made) per game which may involve some driving 1 on 1 action. The Jackrabbits need to weather the yote defense to achieve the 80+ points which should be enough to get past the pesky yotes. Go Jacks!!
(The morning paper has the yotes with 8 players available for today's match.)

I wonder if it's eight plus the player who hasn't practiced in 16 days, and purportedly won't play, according to Lee, or if it's actually 7 who could theoretically play.

It will be interesting to see which starter is supposedly not available.

No Xavier Fuller for the Yotes.

            What about Friedel?

The game is suppose to be on ESPN+, but I am not seeing it.

Hendo said in the pregame radio interview that the rotation would stay the same.

The leadeing scorer on the team can't even get in before mims? Sorry this isnt a basketball decision. There has to be more to it then that.

Interesting that no 'Yote is wearing a mask, given discussion in Zimmer's article about it being a potential concern.

I think Boogie Anderson's sole allowable play should be the "pick and roll"

These officials suck - on both ends. And Zeke Mayo looks like he has been playing college ball for about as long as Douglas Wilson.

Jacks MBB & WBB have a couple dynamic froshes in Mayo & Meyer. Going to be fun watching those two continue to develop
