Was surprised that none of Tyler, Nieman or Newett asked why Noah didn't play. Hopefully Zimmer finds something out.

        Per Zimmer
Noah Freidel out tonight was a coach's decision. And, according to Hendo, a basketball decision.

no coaches and players post-game interview for this game, or too early yet?

Good to see someone in the media business with the balls to ask. Thanks Matt

Really bizarre answer by Hendo, IMO. You are playing one of the best teams in the summit league and you sit your leading scorer for “basketball reasons?” Okay.

I guess I'm happy to see it wasn't because of injury or illness.
otherwise I take it as coach felt he needed to shake up the team (or Noah) a bit. Perhaps it was defensively, who knows, but hey, that's the coaches decision and he made it. I hope it has a positive effect.

Noah screwed up. Not everything needs to be public.
It's just an old Army trick I learned in the Navy.

Probably a good time for everyone to be able to take three days away from basketball and be with family. It's been a lot of games and travel in five weeks.

Great win for the Jacks. I’m thinking it’ll be a ORU vs SDSU Summit League Championship showdown if cards fall as they should. Obviously upsets happen but these 2 seem to be ahead of everyone else. NDSU is a relatively close 3rd best, so getting the number 1 seed could be a big advantage come tournament time.

Based on past history, NDSU will almost always be there in the conversation at the conference tournament.

...And based on the first week of games, WIU or KC could be the #4 team at the top half. The yotes starting at 0-2 while hosting this week have made a steep hill to climb to the top 4.
