Billy Donlon is blazing new trails in Kansas City. He has a winning record in his 3rd season as head coach. The 17-4 advantage SDSU holds in this series can be ignored. Kansas City has a persistent defense as the calling card. There will be 10 players on the floor to enforce the lockdown on the shooters. The Roos are holding opponents to 29% 3pt shooting & 60 points/game. They average 7.5 steals and 16.5 points on turnovers. They have some guard size and bigger forwards. This will be a great beginning to the Summit and a home game for the Jack fans. Jackrabbits need to find some defense and hold the Roos to less than 70 points. The Summit begins. Go Jacks!!

There is 1 category that is interesting. 3 of the 4 losses found only 9 assists/game. Last night with the Roos allowing space to drive the ball one on one still registered 13 assists. The sharing the ball concept has results. Wilson(10-10) & Appel(7-8) & Dentlinger(3-3) going 20-21 at the free throw line adds up nice. Kansas City is very physical and they were missing Allick 6'8" 240# junior forward who is their leading scorer.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. The Jackrabbits carved them up inside, which they should do.
Very impressive win.
Buckle up for Wednesday night’s game vs ORU. We might see 200+ points.
