This isn't a bad loss. There is a reason Missouri St. was favored as they are legit MVC team. More disappointed about the lack of adjustment on offense to get open looks from outside. They clearly weren't going to let Schiereman or Friedel beat us and dared everyone else to score. Gonna have to figure it out because I'm sure summit teams are going to try and do the same.

Tough one for our guys.
If they want to be, the team we think they are, they need to win games like this.
I'm of the opinion, that we are missing a real good perimeter defender. First it was Washington's guy lit us up, then Idaho's guy went off, and then tonight the Bears had the one guy (I forgot his name and I'm not looking it up).
Arians, is a capable defender, and Easly is good...but undersized. Mims is also pretty good, but undersized.
We are in bad need of a Tevin King like guard who will just LOCK people up. Mayo may become that, he's very solid...but he's a true freshman.
3 times is a trend. We need to get better at perimeter defense.
They are capable of doing it as a team (as we saw in WSU game), but it has to be a locked in team performance...can't just let one guy try to stop the hot hand.
The offense... 3 point shooting comes and goes... but I was actually impressed about how we were taking what Mo State gave us, and going inside to Doug and Luke. But we couldn't get the stops on the other end, and we are playing best offensively in transition... (we shoot 3's really well in transition too)...and when we're constantly having to inbound the ball to start the offense, it gets harder.
Defense, defense, defense.
(That said, MO State is ok. But we should beat OK teams. We should. We're too talented to accept an "oh well, they were hot" game against an OK team.)
