  • GDT: Washington vs SDSU 8:30pm ESPN+ Pentagon

The 2 winners from yesterday are paired tonight. Washington shot 19-21 at the charity stripe in the 2nd half to hold off George Mason 77-74. I did not watch the entire game but the Huskies are diverse with the transfers that are on the roster and they should be experienced with a 6'11" guy in the middle. The Huskies are preseason #11 in the Pac 12. The Huskies do not play much bench as only 6 players logged double digits last night with over 30 minutes going to 4 players. The Jackrabbits could keep the Huskies on the move if they can approach the 25 assists on 35 made shots from last night. SDSU has the 1-0 advantage in the series. Go Jacks!!
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

If our team is as good as we think they are... and going where they want to go... they should win. They should not play scared, and they should win.

(Now 2 games in 2 nights... bad things happen

This team has loads of experience and is battled tested and won't play scared. In my opinion the deepest team we have ever had!

Both teams played yesterday, so exhaustion shouldn’t be an excuse. I will be going to the games tonight and it should be fun!

I plan to go tonight and bringing my oldest 2 kids. hoping for a good showing. I think I bring bad luck. I have only been to a couple SDSU games at the pentagon and I dont think I have seen an SDSU win there yet. Just losses. So if we lose that's totally my fault..

The Huskies have great diversity in size. Their roster includes a 7-5 center (redshirt junior Riley Sorn) and a 5-7 guard (junior Anthony Iglesia). Neither starts. Everyone else on the roster is 6-2 to 6-11.

Obviously you just need to be louder---as a proper example to the kids.

Accidently posted this in the Nevada game thread.

According to DraftKings the Jacks are a 7.5 pt favorite. O/U of 158. In the first six games the Jacks are averaging 90.7 pts per game.

Went to the casino about an hour ago. Jacks were 6.5 point favorites then. Nevada was 2.5 point favs over G. Mason.

Turnovers, poor shooting and poor shot selection in the first half. Live by the turn around fade away mid range jumper, die by it. Ugly. Washingtons length, activity and zone has us out of sorts.

Jacks are fortunate to only be down by 10 with basically getting nothing from Scheierman and Freidel. Appel and Wilson keeping us in the game.

As I'm sure you are aware, Baylor Schierman is money on that mid range step back jumper, just not the first half. Jack's doing well inside, just need to see a few 3's fall. If they dont, they will lose.

Arians needs to be more aggressive with his shot when the other guards are out-of-sorts.

I’ve seen him make it a ton, but we’ve got Arians and Easley shooting it too. We’ve shot it a lot tonight and made one. I’m guessing the analytics would disapprove of the shot.
